They will be the "all" architecture, i.e., data and files that are
architecture independent. Nothing is currently being built for alpha.

Yes, Bill and Witold have set up build daemons and we have
communicated with the debian-ports maintainer (off list) and hopefully
building of alpha specific packages will start soon.
I suspect the updates I'm currently seeing were
available prior to the old build daemons being shutdown...
Nae, just produced as a side-effect of build daemons of other
architectures methinks.
