petsc built in the past on Alpha, I believe, but Alpha has very recently been removed from the architecture list for building petsc. I have verified that the current version, 3.2.dfsg-2, does in fact build to completion on Alpha (but did not tried to install and run it). I was wondering what the reason was for the removal of Alpha and whether Alpha can be added back to the architecture build list?
