*This* heads-up also appreciated. I wouldn't have noticed it, because I tend to build-in the drivers for the hardware that's present and always used (SCSI controller, video, etc.). Has the module load relocation error matter been reported on linux-kernel? It wouldn't surprise me if it had and I missed it... Not sure what that says about the definition of a "module" when it gets so large that loading it becomes an issue.
