Someone else suggestesd that it might be a pagesize problem
as xfs uses the pagesize as blocksize. Personally I am not
sure, because I am neither a kernel nor a filesystem expert.
I finally added SATA support to my old i386 kernel and moved
all data to a new SATA disk. I reformatted the old disk
and moved the data back again.
