As mentioned previously, I've had a positive experience with my K8T Neo2 as well (ok, the onboard audio is terrible, but that is hardly a surprise). The key difference is that the MSI K8T Neo boards are Nforce3-based, while the non-Neo K8T is VIA-based.

Neo is just something MSI has been using for a while to make their product names "interesting" and "futuristic" and <add market babble here>
