I was wondering the samething. I had it working under SuSE 9.1, but when I went to Debian 64 I was at a loss. I decided to go with Hotkeys. if you want some information on how i got that up and running just let me know I have the process somewhat documented. I think that hotkeys might just be a patch to the problem and getting lineakd working might be the best thing to do in the end.
