Dear Gavin Seddon, I have seen some mails that you have had some problems chrooting in the amd64 platform. Reading your last mail, I have been invaded by one suspicious about that you doesn't know the amd64-howto or you didn't follow the steps written there, because I followed exactly the steps written there and all works fine. :-)
If you still have problems, we will try to help you, but I hope that all will work :-) Regards, Leo A Dimarts 08 Mar 2005 18:39, Dr Gavin Seddon va escriure: > When I chroot into 32bit nothing opens due to display errors. > > 'vmware > vmware > > Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by C library > Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server > Xlib: No protocol specified > > > Gtk-WARNING **: cannot open display: :0 > oowriter > oowriter > Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server > Xlib: No protocol specified > > I18N: Operating system doesn't support locale "" > Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server > Xlib: No protocol specified > > /usr/lib/openoffice/program/soffice.bin X11 error: Can't open > display: :0 > > k3b > > Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server > Xlib: No protocol specified > > k3b: cannot connect to X server :0 > debian1:/# lib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server > > > > Are these errors related?
