I agree. If possible, you should create three partitions: one for the 32bit system, one for the 64bit system, and one for home. Then you can mount them together any way you like. Remember that changing the partitions may break grub or lilo, so either rerun lilo from the knoppix CD (which is possible, but a bit fiddly), or have an alternative boot method handy. If you want to stick to one partition, you can but the 64bit system in / and the 32bit system in a chroot under /emul/i386. You will not be able to run the 32bit system (at least not in an esay way). And again, knoppix will be handy for setting this up, because you should not move system files around while they are being used. Thomas
