well i compiled php5 some time ago
(i have not completly tested it though)
from the sources that are availible via
deb-src http://people.debian.org/~dexter php5 sid

it seems to work

i copied then to 
http://stud4.tuwien.ac.at/~e0325288/php5/

there seems to be a newer version availible though...
i didn't have time to give it a look yet
