If I am right you want to set up your nvidia grafic card with nvidia drivers.
Under debian you only need to do the following:
install
nvidia-kernel-common
nvidia-glx
nvidia-kernel-source
the read:
/usr/share/doc/nvidia-kernel-source/README.Debian
this should be the trick.
