I used the line you provided and the old one for non-free. I repeated all the steps, cleaned, updated, upgraded, dist-upgraded. Same exact results. I commented out the old non-free source, repeated the above. Some upgrades were made, non germain to this topic. Installed the nvidia-kernel-source and common, then uncommented out the non-free source and tried to add nvidia-glx. same error.
