Quick tip. If you hate the typeaheadfind keys, grab
/usr/lib/mozilla-firefox/res/builtin/platformHTMLBindings.xml, drop it
in your ~/.mozilla/firefox/70xxxxxxx.default/ directory as
HTMLBindings.xml and cut out the following lines::
<handler event="keypress" key="'"...
<handler event="keypress" key="/"...
Quit and restart firefox. Violla! No more typeaheadfind! Now if I
could only get firefox to ignore the ESC key-sequence while editing a
form...
