Oh sorry, I forgot to write that I am using a RAID5. The BIOS and the OS ist just seeing one big SCSI-drive. And the the BIOS wants to boot from the raidcontroller, so I think it is not a problem of reading the MBR, it is a problem of writing a correct one.
