<ob-oldtimer-quip> It's not the backup that'll kill you, it's having a dynamically linked copy of "ln" that needs something in /usr/lib/ that'll drive you crazy. Solaris used to have this problem (I forget how far back), where if you dusted /usr you couldn't even run basic filesytem manipulation commands without booting from rescue media.
