Oh, that's good news. That means that at least they acknowledge Linux users have a problem. In my experience, there are four stages in Linux support: 1. Linux is mentioned nowhere in product descripions, manuals or FAQs. Questions get ignored. 2. The company publicly states that they don't support Linux and also don't plan to support it. 3. "Unsupported" Linux support comes out of skunk works projects burried deep within the company's engineering department. 4. Full Linux support for the product. Nikon apparently is at stage 2, it only takes time and customer feedback to get at stage 3 or 4. Just write to Nikon that you want Linux support.
