I just installed a Sarge here, using a root under lvm. But when I try to see the devices in /dev/mapper, they are not there. There is only control. Thus, /dev/vgmain/ was not created, too.
All tools detect the phsycal volume, the volume group and the logical volumes, but the devices' files are not there. Has anyone been under such a bug? -- Eduardo Costa Lisboa
