What's wrong with the Sarge install CDs? http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian-amd64/debian-amd64/dists/sarge/main/installer-amd64/20050317/images/ I agree, they don't work very well with SATA, but there are also unofficial variants that use kernel 2.6.12. Thomas
