Apparently etch is to be released by the end of this year (2006), or at least that is the current target.
Problem for me is, I have to set up a server to host several virtualised environments. I _was_ planning on using amd64 sarge as debian typically has a long release cycle, great support, etc. For this machine though, the last thing I need is a greatly shortened lifetime. I'd rather not have to go to another distro for this, but I'd rather not have management taking a big bite out of my arse come the end of this year, or shortly thereafter. So, does anyone have any info on the plans for amd64 sarge support? -- Noah Dain "I don't want to make toys, I want to be a dentist!"
