Sorry I forgot to read the whole thread before posting my last email:) The source files are in the official repositories although the amd64 files are not. Add deb-src ... into the sources.list file and then type apt-src install openoffice.org but I did not find out how to compile it fakeroot debian/rules binary did not work and neither did pdebuild. I would like to know how to build it even if I am not going to.
