Your log contains: (**) NVIDIA(0): Using HorizSync/VertRefresh ranges from the EDID has been (**) NVIDIA(0): disabled on all display devices. Do you have a HorizSync/VertRefresh in the monitor section that limits the display to a low refresh rate? I might add that the monitor mentioned on line 445: (--) NVIDIA(0): MED MD30917PN S14 (CRT-0): 400.0 MHz maximum pixel clock is a TFT display. Most TFT displays prefer to run at 60Hz, given they resample the input and act refresh-free (unlike CRTs). I can't imagine that it would give you "eye cancer", since the refresh rate will be imposed by the TFT itself, not the video card :) My advice: Turn EDID back on. If it doesn't fix it, turn it back off and read the display manual and put correct HorizSync/VertRefresh values into the monitor section. -- rob andrews :: pgp 0x01e00563 :: [EMAIL PROTECTED] -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
