Hi dear maintainers, when I am updating my system, I sometimes get these errors:
--------- snip ------- protheus2:/var/cache/apt/archives# LANG=C dpkg -i libc6-i386_2.6-1_amd64.deb (Reading database ... 234520 files and directories currently installed.) Preparing to replace libc6-i386 2.5-11 (using libc6-i386_2.6-1_amd64.deb) ... Unpacking replacement libc6-i386 ... dpkg: error processing libc6-i386_2.6-1_amd64.deb (--install): trying to overwrite `/usr/lib32', which is also in package lib32z1 Errors were encountered while processing: libc6-i386_2.6-1_amd64.deb -------- snap ----- O.k., there are some files, who want to be overwritten, and yes, the package can be installed with the --force-overwrite option. So, is this a real bug, which should be reported ? I found no option when using apt to get such a package installed. So I use dpkg. Anyway, this behaviour appears sometimes, and yes, I am running sid. Thanks for your help. Regards Hans -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble?
