NetworkManager is a finicky thing. Is this a new install? NetworkManager (in the past, at least) ignores cards that are set to automatically come up in /etc/network/interfaces. (Look for the line "auto lo eth0" and take out the interface that you want NetworkManager to look after). (I just got a new laptop, and it just "worked" for me, but this is the first install where NetworkManager was one of the first things I installed, so there was no manual settings for the network at all, other than that required for the install). Hope this helps... Daniel Foote. -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe". Trouble? Contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]
