Tge easiest way is to use module-assistant. It has a nice ncurses-GUI. Choose nvidia-kernel, compile an install it. Afterwards install the package nvidia-glx. Hint: I do not use the latest version, I use a version before (100.14.09), the latest version is freezing my system. Good luck ! (You can also use the entry "nv" instead of "nvidia" in xorg.conf, but this driver has nod acceleration.) Good luck !
