I just noticed after a very recent Sid upgrade that any flash drive plugged in gets no drive label attached to it. Something's obviously changed, but I can't track it down. Google doesn't help, at least with the keywords I used. The typical dmesg I get is as follows:
----- [203436.541034] usb 1-6: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 8 [203436.674940] usb 1-6: New USB device found, idVendor=1234, idProduct=5678 [203436.674944] usb 1-6: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=3 [203436.674946] usb 1-6: Product: USB 2.0 [203436.674948] usb 1-6: Manufacturer: UltraNet [203436.674949] usb 1-6: SerialNumber: 0902261042317 [203436.675041] usb 1-6: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice [203436.677565] input: UltraNet USB 2.0 as /devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:13.5/usb1/1-6/1-6:1.0/input/input9 ----- pmount and fdisk -l show nothing.
