Both the CD and DVD (disk 1) iso (debian linux 6.0.5) images fail to boot, off their respective media.

Asus M 3A32 mother board
AMD Phenom X4 9850 64 bit
8 GB RAM
250 GB hard drive (previously running lenny).

During the upgrade to squeeze the disks failed to boot, and now I have no access to the system at all.

Other boot media work OK (Win 7, Knoppix) from the CD/DVD drive.

This is NOT a BIOS issue.

I appears the Phenom X4, on my mother board got left out of the support list.

I had lenny running previously on the above hardware.

Anybody have any ideas?
