Package: apache Version: 1.3.26-0woody6 Severity: normal postinst gives errors when there are Includes in the configuration files that point to a directory like e.g. "/etc/apache/conf.d".
The Apache DOCs do allow it: [from /usr/share/doc/apache-doc/html/mod/core.html] New in Apache 1.3.13 is the feature that if Include points to a directory, rather than a file, Apache will read all files in that directory, and any subdirectory, and parse those as configuration files. Postinst gives this error: awk: read error (Is a directory) awk: read error (Is a directory) which is coming from line 160 and line 164 in /var/lib/dpkg/info/apache.postinst -- System Information Debian Release: 3.0 Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux orange.akte.de 2.4.27-pentium2-1 #1 Mit Aug 11 16:33:28 CEST 2004 i686 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] Versions of packages apache depends on: ii apache-common 1.3.26-0woody6 Support files for all Apache webse ii dpkg 1.9.21 Package maintenance system for Deb ii libc6 2.2.5-11.5 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an ii libdb2 2:2.7.7.0-7 The Berkeley database routines (ru ii libexpat1 1.95.2-6 XML parsing C library - runtime li ii logrotate 3.5.9-8 Log rotation utility ii mime-support 3.18-1.3 MIME files 'mime.types' & 'mailcap ii perl 5.6.1-8.7 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction ii perl [perl5] 5.6.1-8.7 Larry Wall's Practical Extraction
