Package: apache2-common Version: 2.0.55-4 Severity: normal
Hi, on a system with a new and minimal apache2 installation, the /etc/apache2/conf.d/ directory is empty. Every day cron sends me an e-mail with this error message: /etc/cron.daily/logrotate: grep: /etc/apache2/conf.d/[^.#]*: No such file or directory Same thing on boot and when I restart apache manually: # /etc/init.d/apache2 restart Forcing reload of apache 2.0 web server...grep: /etc/apache2/conf.d/[^.#]*: No such file or directory . A quick fix would be to provide an empty /etc/apache2/conf.d/do-not-remove file (or with a short comment). -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers unstable APT policy: (100, 'unstable'), (99, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-1-686 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages apache2-common depends on: ii apache2-utils 2.0.55-4 utility programs for webservers ii debconf 1.5.2 Debian configuration management sy ii debianutils 2.16.2 Miscellaneous utilities specific t ii libc6 2.3.999.2-8 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libdb4.3 4.3.29-5 Berkeley v4.3 Database Libraries [ ii libexpat1 1.95.8-3.2 XML parsing C library - runtime li ii libgcc1 1:4.2-20060709-1 GCC support library ii libmagic1 4.17-2 File type determination library us ii lsb-base 3.1-10 Linux Standard Base 3.1 init scrip ii mime-support 3.37-1 MIME files 'mime.types' & 'mailcap ii net-tools 1.60-17 The NET-3 networking toolkit ii openssl 0.9.8b-2 Secure Socket Layer (SSL) binary a ii ssl-cert 1.0.13 Simple debconf wrapper for openssl apache2-common recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
