Package: apache2.2-common Version: 2.2.11-6 Severity: wishlist Hello!
While attempting to purge net-tools (in favor of iproute) on my system one of the packages that prevented me from continuing was apache2.2-common. I've quickly looked at why it depends on net-tools and found that debian/apache2.2-common.postinst contains a reference to netstat, but it never actually uses it. (NETSTAT=netstat .... but $NETSTAT is never used) Could you please investigate if the net-tools dependency could be dropped?
