Hi! A similar problem existed in Ubuntu Linux https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apache2/+bug/225105 in the older versions of Apache The original Apache distribution uses its own mime.types which does not contain information about x-httpd-php, I recommend to do well and not "reinvent the wheel"
