Package: apache2.2-common Version: 2.2.22-12 Severity: important I've just upgraded apache2 from testing and I found that the server was stopped.
Looking at the upgrade terminal looks like the upgrade process first fires a 'service stop', but then at the configure stage it fires 'service reload' which is wrong because the server is stopped so it is not started again, a reasonable action for 'reload'. Looks like it should do a 'restart' instead. Severity important because it stops a running service (not quite sure if it really deserves a higher severity, just playing on the safe side) Here I paste the relevant lines from the terminal manually translated by me due to the Catalan locale I use. Please forgive me if translation is not completely accurate, just stick with the main idea. (Reading database… there are 217840 files and directories currently installed.)
