Thanks for the link. I fetched kernel-image-2.4.1-riscpc_20010210_arm.deb, dissected it and only used vmlinuz-2.4.1 instead of Peter's 2.2.16 zImage. Unfortunately, this makes no difference whatsoever - dbootstrap still segfaults almost immediately. :-/ What else could I try out to find the problem?
