I recently acquired a RISC PC that was running arm Debian Linux. Unfortunately X didn't work prop-ally...After much fiddling and downloading of new servers I have managed to get it to work by doing X -bpp16 unfortunately this only loads the x cursor and the grey back ground....Any idea how I could get the actual startx command to work..When I do startx I get an error message about running in 8 bit mode.
