I concur with this request. As LaMont Jones pointed out to me on IRC, the continued existence of libxft2-dev in unstable is causing bustage. http://buildd.debian.org/fetch.php?&pkg=xawtv&ver=3.90&arch=hppa&stamp=1066399394&file=log&as=raw Presumably this would have happened automatically if the arm buildd would have built xft 2.1.2-4 by now, but it hasn't.
