was there ever a solution to this, I am experiencing the exact same behavior. I'm sure its something to do with one of the scripts in /etc/cron.daily since executing the the daily cron always seems to be the last thing it logs.
I have tried running the cron command: (test -x /usr/sbin/anacron || ( cd / && run-parts --report /etc/cron.daily ) but it does not seem to have the same effect. thanks John Gordon Farquharson wrote: > > Hi José > > On 4/21/07, José Muanis <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > >> > > Does the drive do the same thing when connected to a Linux PC? >> > > >> Yes, tested on a Ubuntu 6.10 Notebook today and got the same errors. > >> Any thought? > > Unfortunately, I'm out of ideas.
