The problem comes from the commit option in the fstab.

It wont boot the system when using a ext2 file system.

It's working well now using the UUID.

Did you get a warning while regenerating the new ramdisk?

If you tell me which kernel you have installed, I can give you an
image that'll hopefully boot.  I guess 2.6.26 on armel, right?  Do you
remember the revision of the 2.6.26 kernel package?
