Jason, ok, so U-boot 2011.09 is working for me on the DreamPlug with your v8 patch [1]. I had to grab your pre-FDT kernel patch [2] to get the kernel to recognise the new mach_id.
Is this OK in the interim or do I need anything else? On a first try the kernel does boot, but a) does not see the external SD card, only the embedded one and the USB stick I have pluggen in and b) there is a 120 second delay during boot here: [ 7.009352] sdb: sdb1 [ 7.014203] sd 2:0:0:0: [sdb] Asking for cache data failed [ 7.019740] sd 2:0:0:0: [sdb] Assuming drive cache: write through [ 7.025864] sd 2:0:0:0: [sdb] Attached SCSI removable disk [ 127.189047] libertas_sdio: failed to find firmware (-2) [ 127.194403] libertas_sdio: probe of mmc0:0001:1 failed with error -2 [ 127.205003] EXT3-fs: barriers not enabled [ 131.091832] EXT3-fs (sda2): warning: checktime reached, running e2fsck is recommended I will do some more thorough tests this week, and would also like to flash the new U-boot to SPI (still booting from UART at the moment), can you please tell me the exact commands I should be using so that I don't mess things up?
