If I remember correctly I only tried in the cowbuilder-dist chroot, and there it said that ptrace is not implemented: qemu: Unsupported syscall: 26 strace: ptrace(PTRACE_TRACEME, ...): Function not implemented Although, I have to admit that this is on Ubuntu 12.04...
