Make sure that all of the needed patches for supporting the device with DeviceTree are merged into mainline Linux and once the version of Linux they got merged into reaches Debian then ask (reportbug --source linux) the Debian Linux kernel team to enable the config options needed to support the device in the linux-image-*-armmp package. Do the same for the bootloader.
