I just saw an advert on LWN which people here might find interesting. It
looks like apm have reduced the price of their box to $1495 and are
offering a "developer special" at $895.
Still more than i'm personally willing to pay and it looks like the
offer is US only (for non-us customers they point to avnet who still
seem to be quoting a price of about $3K)
