Hello! I've been using the Vanilla Debian setup for Raspberry Pi 4 for years now, as described here:
https://forums.raspberrypi.com/viewtopic.php?t=282839 When I tried to upgrade to Trixie my install broke (it was somewhat suspicious before). I had problems installing Trixie that way (sorry, did not record the exact error message, will probably file a bug eventually if I find out that this is a genuine bug), so I am wondering: Should installing Trixie with UEFI work for Rasbperry 4 (where there is a UEFI bootrom, there is none for Raspberry Pi 5). Or should a reinstall on Debian 12 and an upgrade work better? Or should I give up on UEFI altogether and go another installation route? I do not care for graphics, I want to run it headless. /ralph
