It's a Raspberry Pi and so has its own way of booting. One of the interesting things to do is to install the UEFI for Pi 4 built by Pete Batard. That *will* allow you to "just install" using an iso file but it does have its own quirks. Unfortunately, the Pi 5 is less well supported in this respect because they changed the hardware part way through.
