Just to share my little knowledge on those QNAP boxes (i own a pretty
old TS-212), the support for marvel kernel was removed before Trixie
release (see
https://salsa.debian.org/kernel-team/linux/-/commit/b53e2d881063b060934bee3da9378da3b5b5387b),
so you probably still have a Bookworm kernel. Don't know if it is linked
to your issue.
On my side i run Trixie on TS-212, but i had rebuild a kernel package
(reintroducing marvel flavour), and also added some tweaks on initramfs
that also became too big.
