The issue occurred on a friend's (roofer, no computer expert) box who used “XRechnung” (<https://www.familiegrosskopf.de/robert/index.php?&Inhalt=xrechnung>, building upon the experimental embedded FB feature, but that's beyond our control) for his business for some time happily on a Win 10 box. Due to the expired support of the latter, I migrated his machine to Debian. So I guess unless (1) is fixed, the only option is to throw away the broken (from the user's pov) Debian packages, and to install those from libreoffice.org, right? I must admit that this is really disappointing for a disto which aims at being the most “stable”, to be honest. Thanks anyway, Albrecht.
