Thank you for taking the time to write this update, and I appreciate
learning a bit more about the people involved (now I see I had
previously read news about Alyssa), and how the project is still moving
forward.  A healthy upstream is another thing I think the backport
ftpmasters look for, because we a backport to be useful and relevant for
the full stable-backport lifecycle.  Oh, and to be clear, I'm not a
backport ftpmaster, 'just someone who wants to see other people's work
accepted and made available to others rather than rejected.
