Um... actually, SCSI kinda is... just don't buy the damn thing from Sun,
since they'll charge you insane amounts.

SCSI isn't *as* cheap as IDE, but the prices aren't nearly as high as they
were. You can get an external 9gb SCSI drive for around $60. It's full
height, and 5400 rpm, but hey, it's still 9gb of SCSI.
