I am happy to announce that the ALINKA company has released a GPL tool for the management and configuration of Linux beowulf-type clusters. ALINKA LCM can be downloaded from <http://www.alinka.com/download.html>
The current version is 1.1.3 and can be considered as a beta release, although some sites use ALINKA LCM v1.1.3 in production. We provide a .deb file that has been tested on slink. ALINKA LCM can replace the nfsroot-0.5.1 that is in ftp://ftp.debian.org/debian/project/orphaned/ The alinka-lcm mailing-list has been created for ALINKA LCM users.
