Just for my own knowledge, though, are the patches so experimental that incorporating them into the stock distribution would be unwise? One can test mpi on a single box with the existing mpi packages, and there is plenty of cluster help on debian-beowulf :-). But I can understand completely if your load is too great. Thanks for all that you do for Debian!
