We've got these very nice SysKonnect (http://www.syskonnect.com) gigabit adapters on our cluster. Together with a Cisco switch we get a MPI app-to-app latency of roughly 45 �s, using the standard Linux net driver and mpich. Christian -- Dipl.-Inf.
