Package: tasksel Version: 2.77 Severity: minor
It'd be useful to be able to set the desktop for tasksel after installing a standard system (e.g. when not using an xfce cdrom but wanting xfce as the desktop later). This also could help with preseeding a desktop that doesn't use gnome but is different than the usual. Would this also affect tasks in aptitude, or is that only affected by debian-tasks.desc (and task fields if applicable)? -- System Information: Debian Release: 5.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Kernel: Linux 2.6.26-1-686 (SMP w/1 CPU core) Locale: LANG=en_CA.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_CA.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Versions of packages tasksel depends on: ii aptitude 0.4.11.11-1~lenny1 terminal-based package manager ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.24 Debian configuration management sy ii liblocale-gettext-per 1.05-4 Using libc functions for internati ii tasksel-data 2.77 Official tasks used for installati tasksel recommends no packages. tasksel suggests no packages. -- debconf information: tasksel/title: tasksel/desktop: gnome tasksel/first: Standard system tasksel/tasks: -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [email protected] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
