Hi there, I just removed the spare and that didn't change anything. Otherwise the setup is exactly the same. I did an aptitude update && upgrade first. So it is a Squeeze system. grub-install (after apt-get install grub-pc) results in segfault at 10d3b48 ip 00.... error 4 in grub-probe[...] Segmentation fault
